Some things you never grow out of – like Jelly Babies, hugs, and a pat on the back for a job well done. Which is why medals have always been a big part of #walk1000miles. That and nice surprises. If you’re walking 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 miles in 2022 it’s an achievement worthy of record, and before Covid got in the way it was a highlight of our year making a surprise presentation of the first medal of year – and you can relieve the moments of excitement in the videos here.
