How do I track my miles?
You can use a wearable fitness tracker like a FitBit, an app like Strava or OS Maps on a smartphone or use the in-built activity / health monitor on your device, but perhaps the easiest way is to work out the distances of familiar routes and enter them on your chart for ready reference. You can plot these routes on Google Maps or #walk1000miles’ tracking partner’s OS Maps to find out their mileages, and know how many miles to add each time your child does that walk.
